My week spent as a resident writer at Wildacres just off the Blue Ridge Parkway was fantastic! So fantastic, in fact, that in addition to the work I did there on a current novel-in-progress, I also wrote a three-part series in praise of the retreat for the She Writes forum. These join my prior three-part series for SW, "Finding a Literary Agent: Things Nobody Told Me," which has been a part of their masthead's slideshow since October. I'm a pretty big fan of the craft-related posts and interviews which pop up in that forum and I'm proud to be a featured contributor.
